New Series: How to Integrate Twitter and Drupal Using the Twitter Module

UPDATE: This series on Twitter can now be purchased over at WebWash Courses.

The Twitter module allows you to integrate Twitter and Drupal. The module comes with a bunch of tools that helps you import, display tweets and post tweets directly using Drupal and much more.

In the “Integrate Twitter and Drupal Using the Twitter Module in Drupal 7” series, you’ll learn how to create a Twitter application and setup the OAuth and Twitter module. Then we’ll look at how to import tweets and display them using Views and how to post tweets directly from Drupal.

We’ll start the series off with a look at how to setup the module in Drupal. This requires us to create a Twitter application and then configure the Twitter and OAuth module in Drupal.

Then we’ll learn about the difference between authenticated and non-authenticated accounts and how to import tweets.

Next week we’ll learn how to display imported tweets using Views and how to display a timeline that follows Twitter’s Display Requirements.
